Let’s talk rompers, shall we?
To start this conversation, I know a romper can be a little intimidating, especially if you’re 30…something. 😉 But as long as the proportions are right, rompers are totally doable for all of us. They’re lightweight and flattering and perfect for Summer.
I’m of the opinion that if you feel good in something, wear it!
Some tips for feeling good in a romper in your 30’s:
1. For daytime, pick a casual, slightly thicker material for comfort and a relaxed vibe.
2. For night, pick a structured, well-tailored silouhette and/or a bright color to dress up the look.
3. Rompers are by nature shorter than dresses, but still—make sure the length is appropriate. I recommend sizing up one from your normal size when buying a romper.
4. Style it simply: the romper itself is enough of a statement piece. Stick with minimal jewelry and neutral shoes to keep it from looking costume-y.
5. Avoid flip-flops, which give the look a bit of a younger vibe. I recommend either a pair of wedges for night or sneakers for day.
6. If you don’t love the look of an elastic waistband, add a belt with texture to add definition to your waist.
7. Add a jacket or shawl—most rompers are sleeveless, so to add a little definition and coverage to your outfit, throw on a denim jacket or even a blazer.
8. Be confident! Rompers aren’t for everyone. But you do you girl! If you like them, then rock them!
The red romper is from Judith March, and the gray romper and flowered romper are from the Pink Lily Boutique. White tennis shoes are from Superga.
Do you wear rompers? What are some of your fave ways to style them?

These are so cute!!
My biggest issue with rompers is going to the bathroom. I get so anxious about being to get it off easily in a stall that I haven’t been able to work up the nerve to wear them !😂
